Today we’d like to introduce you to Lina Younes.
Hi Lina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always wanted to write and publish books for children. Nevertheless, there were always obstacles and financial and economical conditions that made a lot of publishing houses close and travel abroad. Then I came across Amazon KDP and it opened a door for me to publish my ebooks. It was a new challenging experience.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life doesn’t become easier, but we become stronger. I contacted a lot of publishing houses. They liked my ideas but couldn’t afford. A lot of projects were postponed and then cancelled because of the situation.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about I publish ebooks on Amazon?
I have always worked in teaching and other domains, but it was the kids that I was interested in…So I decided to publish ebooks for children to teach the alphabet via fun stories. Then I found the experience of Amazon KDP so exciting, so I published further ebooks as short guides to tell about my ideas regarding happiness and relationships.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I owe my achievements to my family and my friend Edgard who helped me to download the Amazon Kindle program and work on its features. He was of great support.
I wrote 2 series to teach alphabets via fun stories and word families via illustrative pictures.
I also wrote different single stories and short e-guides for adults.
