Today we’d like to introduce you to Lorett Cuadra. Them and their team share their story with us below:
First Dibs Boutique was established in 2019 by the Cuadra family. The Cuadra’s come from a long line of entrepreneurs and took a leap of faith in opening a ladies’ luxury high-end consignment store. An already established business, with the guidance of Lorett Cuadra, the support of her husband Kenneth Cuadra, and their children Isabela, Kenneth Joel and Luke, the business went from a neighborhood shop to nationwide exposure.
The boutique takes pride in providing authentic luxury brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and fan favorite Chanel to name a few at competitive and affordable prices. They also offer a variety of stylish and trendy ladies’ clothing, jewelry, shoes, dresses, and everyday handbags. During the pandemic, they had to shift their focus toward their new online audience. First Dibs quickly resorted to Live shows and online sales through their website in order to survive and stay open during the state-wide shutdown.
By the grace of God, their faith and their loyal “Dibber” support, not only did they manage to stay afloat, but in late 2021, they opened their second location in downtown Houston, specifically the Downtown Tunnels. This new addition has allowed First Dibs to broaden its clientele reach and grow as a business.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
We all know nothing good comes easy. There is no exception to this saying, especially when trying to grow a business. We’ve had several learning curves in the last three years, but none of which we regret making. We have learned that as a small business, we still have big responsibilities to our customers and consignors.
We have been very fortunate to have a hardworking team called “Dibbettes” that help us keep the stores restocked, and looking their best, while making the client experience wonderful.

First Dibs is a ladies’ high-end luxury brand consignment and resale boutique. We buy and sell everything from luxury handbags, ladies’ clothing, accessories, dresses, shoes and more. A few of our most popular non-luxury designer brands are names such as Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Coach, Lululemon, Micheal Kors, Brahmin, and Chicos. We are best known for our weekly “Live” shoes on Instagram and Facebook, our friendly staff, our upbeat and personal one-on-one customer relationships, a variety of distinctive pieces of clothing, and unbelievable pricing!
We believe we are set apart from others due to both our strong social media presence and commitment to our customers. The opportunity we have to constantly be able to go “Live” by a click on the phone has driven a force of advertisement we could only dream of!
