Check Out Alexis Pryor’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Pryor.

Hi Alexis, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Back in 2020, when the pandemic first began, I started doing my own hair. Everything was shut down and I loved wearing wigs so I decided to learn how to apply them. One day I made a TikTok doing my hair and it went viral. After that people began to ask me if I can do their hair. At first, I didn’t take it seriously because I eventually went off to college and I wanted to focus on school. But then I got pregnant and I knew nursing wasn’t my passion so mid-pregnancy I decided to quit my job, leave school, and commit to hair full time. From then on out, I have been doing hair for the past year and a half consistently.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey hasn’t been easy. Starting back after maternity leave business was slow I thought I would have to go back to work, but I prayed on it and continued to push through. Also, I don’t get much rest or help with my son so it can be hard at times but I manage to make it work.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in wig installs. I’m most proud of how far I came in my business while managing to be a young mom at 19. My passion and dedication to hair sets me apart from others.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People who would like to work with me can reach out via email or phone. I’m always open to collaborating and even support other businesses.
