Rising Stars: Meet Jiovanni Jones, Esq.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jiovanni Jones, J.D..

Jiovanni, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
The story of how I became a Senior Consultant at Elite Change Inc. started in 2017 when I was working as a legislative aide for Texas State Senator Jose Rodriguez. There I learned the importance of public service and how important it is for a young adult to change policy and politics. I looked at how many people in government had a doctorate of jurisprudence and decided to apply for law school. After graduating and taking the bar, I looked at where my skill set would be most effective, I decided to apply for a lobbying career at Elite Change Incorporated.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has not been a smooth road at all. During law school, I struggled with what I wanted to do in life. I had no path besides law school. I was dealing with not truly feeling worthy. I had to win the battle within before I was ready to set out on my path of life.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Senior Consultant for Elite Change Incorporated. Elite Change, Inc. is a public affairs and strategic communications firm focused on influencing today’s ever-changing political, business, and public landscape. Since its founding, Elite Change has become a nationally recognized firm operating at all levels of the public, government, and business sectors. We continuously strive to stay on the cutting edge of all facets of effective strategy, and look to expand our experience and reach through our work in emerging trends.

I am most proud of the work that we do for people. We help people get real results for their ongoing problems.

What sets me apart from others is my determination to see results through. If there is a roadblock in my way, I will obliterate that block to reach my results.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is that the least, last, and lost are not forgotten. People are so caught up in their own lives that we tend to forget that we, as a human race, are only as great as the worst of us. So if we lift as we climb then we are leaving a better world than when we came in.
