Hi Thu, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am the owner of The Haus of Wraps and professional installler for vinyl wraps from cars to commercial vehicles, Graphic Designer, and Paint Protection Films (also known as Clear Bra). You take your customers invision and put it onto a screen, creating what they imagine onto their vehicles. It’s pretty amazing how it turns out when you’re on point of what they’ve invisioned.
I’ve always been a car enthusiasts growing up, my father showed me the ropes around cars naturally the basics of it such as; changing a flat tire and replacing it with a spare tire, changing the oil and filter, and using a car jack properly. He would also take me to his friend’s auto body shops showing me how to diagnosed a sick car, how to repair it, and Saturday nights at the Baytown tracks.
I started off doing window tinting, but it didn’t intrigue me as much, so I decided to venture out on something more. I’ve researched countless times about vinyl wraps and paint protection films, taking courses from a certified installer in Canada to California and 3m here in Houston. Those guys were awesome, they took their time explaining every detail aspects of becoming a installer and the best part was hands on! I am actually traveling to Seattle soon for Stek courses on paint protection film in November of this year. Excited! I love laying the vinyl down onto a car, the contours and beautiful curves on the body gives me such a intriguing yet satisfying feeling. You are basically creating art onto a car, it’s beautiful. Especially when your customer is astound with your work, it’s rewarding.
And this is me now, becoming a professional installer to a business owner, supporting and empowering women in the automotive industry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
You must understand that its going to take a lot of people to get you there. It takes rejection and redirection. It takes loss, battles, and resiliency. You don’t just show up at the top. You have to work for growth. Success isn’t easy, trust me, it’s part of the journey. Be patience and consistent.
Especially being a female in a male-dominated automotive industry has it moments. There will be customers disapproving of your work because you are a female, I have encountered one person and it wasn’t very pleasent. There is such a low percentage of females in the automotive industry due to facing many hurdles, being fearful and having to deal with a negative atomsphere. I believe there is a huge space for women to excel in the automotive industry. We are all equals.

We specialize in vehicle to commercial vinyl wraps, graphic designing, paint protection films (also known as clear bra), paint correction, window tint, and film/vinyl protection coats such as; Ceramic Pro it is a chemical polymer soluntion that is applied to the exterior of the vehicle to protect it from external paint damage and Ceramic Pro PPF & Vinyl is a clear, multi-layerable, nanoceramic liquid coating. When cured, it will transform itself on the surface to a slick, flexible glass shield acting as a protective barrier to the substrate it is applied to.
