Ashlynn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m Ashlynn Racquel, and I’ve been helping businesses define and elevate their brands for over a decade. I have been designing and creating presentations since the age of 13, my mom told me that I had been obsessed with making fun PowerPoints ever since.
I’ve always loved the idea of helping people get where they want to go, and when I discovered the world of marketing and design, that love was fed by an insatiable desire to make other people’s ideas come to life. That’s why I pursued a degree in marketing: to help people use what they know about themselves and their business to grow it into something bigger than they could have imagined alone.
As I learned more about how to guide people through this process, however, I found that there were so many businesses out there who lacked the foundational knowledge necessary to grow their brands online—and even more who didn’t have any way of getting started. That’s why I started Ashlynn Racquel Media: so that every business owner could benefit from the knowledge I’ve gained during my years as an entrepreneur and content creator with a focus on social media management.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I do not think that success is ever an easy road. I am grateful for the support system that I have, which has always made sure I stayed on course. My main struggle was imposture syndrome, and while I can’t make it go away completely, I have learned to show grace for what I have learned while embracing my current success and having an open mind for continuing to accept obstacles as lessons!

Ashlynn is degreed in Marketing and understands communications and graphics theory and implementation. Staying up-to-date with trends in social media marketing, online marketing, and direct response marketing to assist clients in success.
