Hi Cynthia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, he that reads it can run it. That’s exactly what my husband did. Together with the support of our family and God, we were able to establish our first design office. We wanted to provide magnificent designs at accessible prices to our community. Our goal was to be known in Pasadena as one of the main Designing Firms in the city.
Of course, we also want to tackle all greater Houston.
Humble beginnings are always the best. As we endeavored through this journey, we ran out of our life savings and started to feel the pain of birthing this vision. Yes, It continued like that for several years. Oh we remember so clearly, the first year total sales were $ 5, 000.00. Wow, just saying it, my heart starts skipping…
Holding on to that vision was indeed one of the most challenging things we have done as individuals and as a family.
Fast forwarding to today, we have been in business for almost 10 years, where we have truly seen the hand of God. We have achieved many goals, throughout but the most important one has been to live out the vision of the company,

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Where to start? Not having enough personnel to operate and manage at the level you were so desperately striving to be can be a real struggle.
As a business owner, you tend to multitask and in the process, you become a slave of the vision you want to achieve to later enjoy the freedom you have desired.

When we first started, I would always say “the team”, I would referee to the company as many people would work in it. When I clearly knew it was only my husband and I for the first 3 years, I just knew that I had to believe it myself first before others would! Oh wait, another funny story, Our first office was so tiny people in the building would stop by thinking I was the information desk of the building. Gosh, those stories can go on and on.
