Today we’d like to introduce you to Lukman Adesanya.
Hi Lukman, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi! My name is Lukman and I’m the founder of LukFiT Active, where I focus on both personal training and apparel. I started my brand at first through personal training. I’ve been coaching 1-on-1 since 2019 while in school. Originally when I first started my intention was to help some friends that asked for my help, with a plan to have a PT certification after school. I didn’t pay a lot of mind or extra energy to my hobby until the start of the 2020’s pandemic. With extra time on my hands, I learned how to obtain a business license as well as educate myself on human anatomy. From outdoor bodyweight workouts to resistance bands to in a gym, personal training has always kept me growing. My first piece was resistance hip bands to now I focus more on the apparel side of the brand. Every day, I continue to educate myself and others through social media and even in-person encounters.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been an interesting road. Through all the training and brand activewear manufacturing, the biggest struggle was merging it all together when I became a bodybuilding competitor. You had the apparel, the training, and the physique aesthetics, 3 elements that are normally in their own industry. Each day gets better by reminding the purpose is greater than profit.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in personal training and contest prep. I make men and women predominantly in the ’20s & ’30s reach their full potential, confidence and physique. I train lifestyle clients, and transformation clients and currently moving on towards contest prep. My apparel represents lifestyle and fitness, no matter what shape or lifestyle you can do it.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I appreciate my three training mentors (Julian, Ezy, CT) as well as all of my clients. I train with love and empathy, each client or apparel customer deserves credit for making me the progressive person I am today.
