Hi Jacqueline, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
My name is Jacqueline Gutierrez, and I’m a professional photographer. My passion for photography and art started at an early age. As a young kid with great talent in art, I had the opportunity to win many contests.
My mother always inspired me to continue to learn different techniques.
I left my home country (Mexico), and I moved to Houston in 2006 to pursue the possibility of becoming a professional photographer. I studied very hard to create my own style in photography and to be recognized as a one of the top ten photographers in Houston.
In 2008, I had the opportunity to open my photography business, with excellent results in the first and consecutive years. I feel blessed to have worked with so many clients that trusted my skills and style.
Since that moment, I’ve known that I am on an endless journey to continue to be a photographer; my goal is always striving for perfection and uniqueness with every project.
I enjoy my work, and every project is a challenge for me. I believe this is one of the most rewarding experiences anyone can have, especially when our clients share their pictures with family and friends during important moments of their lives. This is the best reward I can receive.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have been blessed with great opportunities, and I consider every day a challenge.
