Kelly, it’s been too long since we last connected. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with our community again. Some readers might have missed our prior conversations, so maybe you can kick things off for us with a quick intro?
I am an entrepreneur, a web and graphic designer, a homeschool mom with four amazing children, and owner of Designed by Kelly. I love helping small businesses, nonprofits and purposeful entrepreneurs find their brand and teach them how to develop and use an online presence to reach their target audience. We offer three main services: website design, branding and graphic design and social media management. We help our clients stand out by creatively and visually telling their story through building a brand that customers will come back to time and time again.

We spotlight a small business, nonprofit, feature special guests of interest or just answer the most Frequently Asked Questions. It allows small business owners to feature and talk about their small businesses and show their areas of expertise.
We offer two types of podcasts:
Small Business/Nonprofit Spotlight Podcast: This podcast format is for our current clients only. We talk about your business/nonprofit along with any new feature, event, service or launch you want to discuss. Then we spend a few minutes talking about how Designed by Kelly has worked with your business/nonprofit and how it has helped you grow.
Ask Kelly Podcast: This podcast format is available for anyone to join! You can be a current or past client, or have never worked with Designed by Kelly before. We talk about your business/nonprofit along with any new feature, event, service or launch you want to discuss. Then, we give you the opportunity to ask us any five questions you want related to web design, branding, graphic design, or social media management and your business. We will offer you the best advice and tips we can!

What new service will you be launching in 2023 at Designed by Kelly?
In 2023 we launched Virtual Assistant Services and online course design.
Virtual Assistants are a great way to streamline business operations and increase productivity. Having an assistant who works remotely can save you time and money. With our service you can assign tasks to a professional assistant who can help you manage aspects of your small business/nonprofit quickly and efficiently. Our VA can help you create basic designs for print and digital marketing, offer Canva Templates for designs as requested, offer basic video editing, assist with email lists, newsletters and basic email marketing as well as write content and create graphics for your social media. There may be other tasks specific to your business we can assist you with that we will consider on a as requested basis.
With our online course design service, we can create courses with a range of multimedia content, including video, audio, and images, as well as interactive elements such as quizzes, worksheets and workbooks. For those looking to create a course quickly and easily, the online e-course design service is the perfect solution. We take your content to build and deliver an engaging and interactive course quickly, easily, and without hassle.
Tell us about Designed by Kelly’s Give Back Program and how you contribute to your local community through time and services.
At Designed by Kelly, we believe in the value of giving back so we look for ways to give back to our community through donations of time, services as well as financially. We offer Canva masterclasses often, helping people with their online designs. We’ve teamed up with GFC We Care Connection Ministries in St. Louis, MO offering underprivileged students ages 14-18 an online course on How to Start and Market a Mock Business. Over a period of six online zoom classes, they learned how to name, brand, and maintain their mock business by creating basic marketing materials and a basic website using Canva software. We’ve also designed several free websites over the years for nonprofits who have needed our support.
