Inspiring Conversations with Rosanne Austin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosanne Austin.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
During my career as a sexual assault prosecutor in California, I began a years-long struggle with fertility. I juggled crime-fighting with the existential crisis that was the desire my husband and I had for a family. I was doing all of the treatments, diets, lotions, and potions that I could get my hands on, but nothing was working. I was traveling hundreds of miles per week, sparing no expense, but we just weren’t conceiving naturally or by any of the treatments we endured.

Then I realized that while we were working on our health, cleaning up our diets, and getting cutting-edge medical interventions, the one thing that wasn’t healthy was my mindset. Mindset means, what I thought and believed about myself and my prospects on my fertility journey. When I made that realization, I began an odyssey of self-discovery, study, and mindset shifts that I now teach women around the world, who are living their fertility journey.

Applying what I learned and taught, I had my son naturally at almost 44, when medicine had given up on me. I wrote best-selling books about what I learned, started a successful podcast, and now have a global coaching business that has served women on 6 of 7 continents. I have supported women ages 28 to 52 to get and stay pregnant… finally.

What started as personal heartbreak and tragedy, became my life’s professional purpose.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Don’t I wish! Actually, the bumps in the road were an insurance policy for me being, doing, having, and giving at the highest level. I struggled with wondering whether women would be open to applying the principles I teach about mindset to their fertility journey. What I quickly discovered is that not only were they open–they craved it. I also wondered if anyone would give credence to what I taught because I wasn’t a therapist or a physician.

Turns out that my real-life experience, success, and the success of my clients were the only “proof” I needed. It spoke for itself and we have the receipts! LOL. At each new level of my work, I face new challenges on how I can serve my clients in newer and more innovative ways. I also challenge myself to learn, grow, and find new edges in my own personal discovery.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Fearlessly Fertile by Rosanne Austin Coaching, LLC?
I help women struggling with fertility get and stay pregnant. My work covers the mindset piece of the fertility puzzle. A physician will help women with the physical aspect. My area of expertise is the real estate between a woman’s ears. Mindset is part of the fertility journey that offend gets overlooked.

But the scientific and anecdotal evidence shows that the mind and body work together –they are critical components of the ecosystem that creates our overall health and wellness. You can’t out-medicate, out-diet, or out-treat a mindset ruled by fear, doubt, and negativity. Our thoughts and beliefs shape our actions and therefore results. I teach women how to think, believe, and take action like women who beat the odds on the fertility journey.

I’ve helped women ages 28 to 52, some of whom faced less than a 1% chance of getting pregnant. It’s about empowering women with ALL of the ingredients for making their dream of being a Mom come true. I believe if a woman has the desire to be a Mom, it is meant for her. We will find a way!

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I encourage women to check out my Fearlessly Fertile podcast as a great first step. I speak very directly and passionately about what I teach. 10 years in the courtroom has also made me a bit salty, which women either love or hate… And it’s the truth about who I am. I speak in a way that I wish someone spoke to me when I was living my journey.

I needed someone who could see beyond my pain and light the way to my success. That’s what I strive to be for the women who hear my message. Women can also find me at my website: www.frommaybetobaby.com and well as on Instagram @rosanneaustinfertility I routinely have guests on my podcast of all different disciplines who support women struggling with fertility.
