Hi Brian, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I am a middle child of 3, and I grew up in the small rural town of Franklin, LA. At 17, I went off into the Army, where I stayed for 8 years, and then over to the Navy where I stayed for 4. After the Navy, I went into IT and then left San Diego, CA, and moved to Texas. Fast forward to today, and I no longer occupy the IT space, but I currently run 3 businesses. I am a realtor, Notary Public, and I am the owner of BHG Credit Solutions. I spend my days trying to help as many people as possible feel secure in themselves and strive for Financial Empowerment and Freedom.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
“Do not go where the path might lead; go instead where there is no path… and leave a trail!” This is a quote that I have lived by for a while now. Has the road been smooth??? If you call 2 bankruptcies, multiple layoffs, and a multitude of other occurrences smooth… then yes!! Otherwise, I consider myself “Failing my way to Success!” With each little “challenge,” I take note and make the adjustment.

The business is named after my late dog Brees. When he passed, my life changed. Brees Holding Group (or BHG) is the parent company for BHG Credit Solutions LLC and High-Speed Notary Service (DBA). We strive to provide services that everyday people need and be the best at it! Under our umbrella, we do everything from property acquisition, real estate transactions, house flipping, Notary services, and more. But the heart of our operation is our credit business. I take personal pride in being able to assist people regain their creditworthiness. We are here to assist to the maximum reach of our capacity.
