Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
At 32 years old, I transitioned from a tech career to real estate in January 2023, driven by a desire to pursue my dreams and escape the overwork and dissatisfaction I experienced at Apple. Growing up as the only child of immigrant parents, I faced challenges while witnessing their pursuit of the American Dream. Despite a modest upbringing, my parents worked tirelessly to support me, and I am grateful for their sacrifices and the lessons learned along my journey.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Joe Khuat of KA Housing and Development for his exceptional mentorship and the opportunity to join KA Realty. With Joe’s guidance, I have grown significantly in the real estate industry in just five months. My passion for helping people is a driving force behind my career choice, and I am dedicated to going above and beyond to assist others. I also want to express my gratitude to Arlena Nguyen from Absolute Mortgage for giving me my first opportunity in the industry and educating me about loans and mortgages.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Beginning my real estate journey was a challenging experience. I lacked knowledge and guidance until Joe Khuat brought me on board at KA Realty. I took a leap of faith by leaving Keller Williams Southwest, realizing that a smaller team can often make a bigger impact. I understood that success in this field depended on my own efforts, taking control of my journey, putting in the work, and achieving the extraordinary.
