Meet Malaysia Bradley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Malaysia Bradley.

Hi Malaysia, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Growing up, I loved art. I tried many different types of visual art before I was introduced to graphic design. I enjoyed learning the techniques and creating different projects. After not receiving any offers in my field, I lost sight of my passions & pushed graphic design to the side. After job hopping a bit, COVID hit; it helped me hone in on my graphic skills & create a business that not only would help me but others too.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being an entrepreneur takes immeasurable discipline. There are times when business is slow, and motivation is low. There were times where I thought about giving up, but I had to remember why I started and find the inspiration to persist. These challenges have taught me how to learn from the process and become a better business owner and graphic designer.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a graphic designer. I specialize in brand & graphic design; this includes building a brand from scratch & revamping a brand. We offer branding packages & a la carte services such as logos, flyers, business cards, etc. My goal is to help the client develop the style and aesthetic of their business by providing them with all the tools needed to advertise their business in this competitive market. I am known for creating high-quality designs & bringing a vision to life. I am most proud of the continuous growth of my brand & excited for the direction that we’re headed in. As a graphic designer, my ability to connect with clients allows me to use my artistic skills to produce a product that the client will love. Understanding the client helps me focus on making the project useable & approachable.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is making the most out of every moment. There have been too many times growing up where my family and I were only surviving. Since I became an adult, it has been my philosophy to enjoy all the little things life has to offer. Whether that is treating myself to ice cream or going to the amusement park on a whim, I prioritize my happiness.
