Hi Zavannah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Started doing makeup professionally about eight years ago before moving to Houston. Once I moved to Houston, I realized my make-up skills were not on the same level as make-up artist here in Houston, so I decided to continue my career in bartending after giving it much thought and realizing how important make up was in the bartending industry, I decided to drop my own custom make-up line catered to women in the industry, with long-lasting qualities and vibrant colors.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My biggest struggle along the way was finding the right vendor most vendors for cosmetics and other industries are located out of the country, so communicating with those and making sure I had the perfect formulas for my products was my biggest obstacle after ordering samples and going back-and-forth with the vendor, I was able to decide on the perfect formula for my products
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a mixologist, as well as a creative Content creator. I create beautiful cocktails that are immersive and also nostalgic. I am most proud of the Content. I can create with different brands.
What matters most to you?
One thing that matters the most to me is making my younger sister proud and showing her that no matter where you come from or who you are you can follow your dreams
