Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Well, you guys may know a little bit about me already, and the most important things is. I had a dream, and I went after it, but instead of giving you a runback on how I got started into the makeup world or how I completely fell in love with it, I want to update you on what I’ve been working on lately but rest assured Mr. Jays cosmetic is still going well.
And the next step to Jay King is releasing an upcoming novel, which will be dropping this fall call “The Gurl Behind the Makeup”…

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing that you want is ever going to come with smooth roads. There will always be someone there to criticize your work, try and manipulate your mind, or even try to fool your eyes. But as long as you go in with your goggles on and stand strongly on your beliefs, then every obstacle will be manageable.

There’s so many things that set me apart from others, the biggest thing being that I specialize in almost everything, makeup, clothing, hair, nails, etc., and now on to explore a new chapter in writing.
How do you define success?
Success is in the eye of the beholder… What may be success to you may not be to someone else.
