Check Out Jennifer Cazares’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Cazares.

Jennifer Cazares

Hi Jennifer, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hey there! My name is Jennifer Cazares. This is my story.

I started modeling in Louisiana at the age of 13. At first, modeling was something recommended by a friend that is also a photographer. Once I started doing photo shoots, I realized that modeling is something I love to do and want to do long-term. I’ve been grateful for the fact that modeling has brought me out of my shell, and I’ve learned how to appreciate who I am on the days that I may not see it. It’s more than a hobby to me. It has become my passion and something that I still get excited to do. I’m proud of the work and dedication I’ve put into modeling, but I’m also grateful to those who helped turn my hobby into a passion along the way. I now reside in Texas, and I am continuing my career as a model. Recently, I’ve been participating in bridal, editorial, and portrait-styled shoots. I hope you’ve read my story and it inspires you to chase after a hobby that you have passion for and that you’re able to turn your passion into a career.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say it’s been a smooth road with a few obstacles. Starting out in Louisiana, I had a few modeling opportunities, but not many. Now that I live in Texas, I’ve been able to excel in my modeling career because I have more opportunities and the experience I need to keep moving forward with modeling. Along with the experience I’ve gained from modeling in Texas, I’ve also gained more confidence, which was something I didn’t have a lot of when modeling in Louisiana since I wasn’t able to do what I love very often.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Mainly what I’m known for is my modeling career, but I am also a stay-at-home mom to a 19-month-old son. Modeling is my passion and a career in itself, but being a mother is also a job on its own. I’ve been lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom while also being able to continue my passion for modeling. I specialize in boudoir, editorial, bridal, and fashion-styled shoots. I’m proud of the fact that, no matter what obstacles life throws at me, I continue to never forget that modeling is what I love. I’m most known for my reliability and how easygoing I am in situations that may not go as planned. What sets me apart from others is that modeling is a major part of my life. While I have my own family, I make sure to separate my business from family life, and I remain reliable while doing so.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was extroverted and loved meeting new people. While being in school, I went through a lot of bullying, it made me very introverted, and I delt with a lot of social anxiety. Modeling helped me with my social anxiety, and even though I still deal with anxiety, I always look forward to participating in photo shoots. Styled shoots have brought me out of my comfort zone in the best ways possible.
