Today we’d like to introduce you to Cinee Mitchell.
Hi Cinee, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started baking as a little girl because my grandmother loved sweets and she like to cook and bake, so I stayed in the kitchen with her. I grew a love for it, so I decided wanted to go to school for it. Now, I’m working in my field and also runs a small business. I always planned on going into business myself; it was just hard to do because I was used to just baking for my family, and baking for outside people made me nervous. I put myself out there, and people started ordering, and I just kept going, and here we are today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Road has definitely been a rough one for me! I lost my passion for baking at one point. I lost my grandmother, that was hard to deal with for some time, but I found myself baking just because I missed her, so I was back in love with it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I bake, and I make sweet treats for any event! If I can get my hands on it, I can do it! I specialize in cheesecakes and pies! What sets Sunnaes Bakeshop apart from others is I help others instead of keeping everything to myself. If I know I can’t do something, I’ll point you to someone who can! I’m most proud of how far my brand has come. I loyal clients that send me other clients! My service comes from the heart; everything I do, I do with love! I love to see the customer’s face one they get their order!
What matters most to you?
That people are happy with what they got! It’s something they are paying for. If they are not happy with it, then you’ll lose customers through word of mouth
