I am a founder of NEXTOP Ceramic which is a global company that manufacture and distribute/export 🌎 high-value surfaces such as Floor/Wall Porcelain/Ceramic Tiles, Porcelain Slabs, Engineered QUARTZ Slabs, Subway Tiles, Mosaics Tiles, and SPC Flooring as well as other building materials
In 2001, my journey in the tile industry began when my dad opened his first retail showroom in India, transitioning from the clay roof to the tile sector. My initial exposure came as I helped launch his new showroom, sparking my passion for tiles at early age and their limitless design possibilities.
After supporting my dad for a few years, I shifted my focus to completing my studies and college. However, I continued to contribute to expanding our family business, evolving from a tile showroom to a raw material manufacturing unit and eventually to a porcelain tile manufacturing unit. My younger brother also joined our venture, and from there, the possibilities seemed boundless.
Throughout this journey, we identified a gap and an opportunity to fulfill all flooring and building material needs under one roof. This realization led to the inception of NEXTOP CERAMIC, driven by a simple but fierce vision: “Enable people from all walks of life to construct their ideal living spaces with affordability and ease of availability in mind.”
In order to achieve our vision, I took this bigger step to be the ultimate one-stop source for distributors, wholesalers, retailers, developers, and builders worldwide. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive range of Porcelain/Ceramic flooring, wall tiles, countertops, SPC Flooring, and other building material products.
To achieve this, we leverage our in-house manufacturing capacity and strategic partnerships with other manufacturers. This approach enables us to provide a wide variety of products to our distributors at competitive prices.
Our motto is “What’s Next,” embodying our commitment to constant innovation and staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of flooring and building materials.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Certainly not. It was far from smooth road. Our journey has been marked by numerous challenges, including lack of formal knowledge of entrepreneurship, market recessions, the need for constant industry innovation, and the impact of geopolitical issues. However, instead of viewing these hurdles as obstacles, we saw them as opportunities that compelled us to improve. This drive led to innovations in manufacturing, designs, and enhanced solutions for our supply chain.
One of the significant hurdles we encountered was navigating external factors, such as the escalating cost of gas or fuel for production, a substantial expense for our manufacturing unit. In addition to this, we grappled with local regulations and the complexities of international regulations. This compelled us to think innovatively and find efficient solutions.
Since the launch of Nextop Ceramic, we encountered additional challenges, particularly in establishing our brand and reputation in a highly saturated and competitive North America market. To position ourselves at the forefront, we’ve focused on four key pillars and instilled a guiding philosophy within our team: Faster Accessibility, Highest Quality Standards, Financial Affordability, and Great Service to our clients. These principles serve as the foundation for overcoming obstacles and achieving success in a dynamic and demanding industry.

Me and my team is constantly upgrading ourselves with new product innovation and focusing on in-house manufacturability. So, we can provide best quality products at cheapest price to our customers.
In my professional journey, I hail from a business-oriented family with a deep-rooted connection to the Tile Industry, based in Morbi, Gujarat, India—the largest hub for tile manufacturing in the country.
Despite my engineering background, my heart always gravitated towards the tile industry. After a few years working as an engineer, I transitioned into a more strategic role within our family enterprise, concentrating on the future trajectory of our businesses. It was during this period that the concept of Nextop Ceramic took shape, with the ambition of establishing it as a leading exporter/importer of flooring solutions in North America. I’m excited about the prospect of building this brand and contributing to the industry’s growth.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
In essence, success for us is straightforward: it’s built on TRUST, where anyone can build their ideal living space very AFFORDABLY.
Trust is indeed the cornerstone of our success. When clients not only return to do business with us but also actively advocate for our brand, requesting Nextop Ceramic products based on the trust and quality we’ve consistently delivered, that’s a true testament to our success.
