Hi Abeera, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
So, my story is basically the postpartum journey, or you can say a recovery from that phase. I was feeling really low and conscious after having my baby. I was losing a lot of hair, and it was making my postpartum depression even harder. And whenever I look back in times, I miss my old self, my body shape, my hair health, literally everything. I knew I cannot bring the old times and life back, but I thought to give some time for my health and beauty. Because every new mom goes through this phase where she just loses herself in the “new mommy blues.”
That is where I missed my hometown, my parents’ house, and my mother a lot. I remembered how my mom used to put this special earthy oil in my hair when I was a young girl, and my hair was always so healthy.
So, I thought, why not give it a shot? I made this oil, like my mom and grandma used to, all natural and no weird chemicals. I called it “Earth Hair Oil.” When I started using it, my hair got so much better – shiny, thick, and healthy.
When my friends and family saw the change in my hair, they were like, “What’s your secret?” So, I told them about the Earth Hair Oil and how it helped me. Everyone wanted to try it, and they loved it too!
Now, I’ve got this little business selling the Earth Hair Oil on Etsy and Instagram. Selling on tiktok shop aswell.
But the best part? I want my daughter to see how important it is to take care of yourself. I always tell her, “No matter how busy life gets, always take care of yourself. Be healthy and love yourself.” It’s a lesson I learned from my mom and grandma, and now, I’m passing it on to her through something as simple as a special Earth hair oil.

Oh, it definitely wasn’t a smooth ride. When I was dealing with postpartum depression and losing hair, it felt like I was in a tough spot. Creating the Earth Hair Oil was a trial-and-error process. Figuring out the right mix of natural ingredients took time, and sometimes, it didn’t work as expected.
Then, there was the challenge of starting a little business. Packaging, labeling, and getting the word out – it was a learning curve. Also, convincing people that this homemade remedy could actually work was tough in the beginning.
But you know what kept me going? Seeing the positive change in my own hair. When friends and family started asking about my secret, it felt like all the hard work was paying off. Now, it’s not just about selling a product; it’s about sharing a lesson about self-care and passing down a family tradition. So, yeah, it was bumpy, but the journey is what made it worthwhile.

I started a little business called “Annablingbeauty,” specializing in a natural and chemical-free products. As of now, I have launched only one product, which is the hair care solution “Earth Hair Oil”.
