Hi Taylor, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. Growing up, I was the kid who participated in many extracurricular activities – competitive dance, choir, and cheerleading. I enjoyed performing on stages and public speaking. In each activity, I strived to be the best I could be, and that followed me into adulthood. I secured both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree, paving my way into the corporate landscape. Being on social media as Real Southern Belle has allowed me to reach a larger audience and share my unique perspective when it comes to lifestyle and motivation. Helping and genuinely caring for the success of others is my passion, and I love branding and marketing. I combined both of those things to create my very own masterpiece, Real Southern Belle Consulting. With RSB Consulting, I help entrepreneurs thrive and create a brand that impacts!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ve learned that I don’t have to put myself in a box. When building a career and a business, there are times where you have to pivot! When I experienced a job layoff in 2023, I decided to pivot into a new field of work. That’s also when I created Real Southern Belle Consulting. Life is all about changes and being resilient. Most importantly, having a positive mindset is KEY.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m currently a professional in the Healthcare Technology industry. I am a Lifestyle Content Creator. I am an entrepreneur. As far as content creation, I partner with brands from time to time and vlog my life on YouTube. I also have a social media presence on Instagram and Tiktok. I’m known for sharing dance videos, relatable vlogs, and motivational content. With Real Southern Belle Consulting, I am able to help entrepreneurs from various industries develop their confidence and creative skills while building their brand. I’m proud of the community I’m building online and in business. When I hear or see comments from people who look up to me, I am so proud and humble. This is all bigger than me! I think my confidence and courage is what sets me apart from others, I’m not afraid to try.
What makes you happy?
Spending time with my loved ones makes me happy. Also, seeing people win in life makes me happy. Those moments where I see someone has worked hard to achieve something, and finally achieves it. On a lighter note…cheesecake, traveling, and dancing makes me happy.
