

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joely Contreras.
Hi Joely, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story with how I got where I am today is I come from a very strong background in insurance, and sales. But my last, well, part of how Concon 17 got started was franchising. So, I was on the commercial side of real estate with franchising and sale. Selections for major box brands – really big brands, names, and stuff like that. So, when I started my franchising, or my consulting firm, which is Contreras Consulting, I was like, oh, well, since I do real estate, then obviously it makes sense to get my real estate license, which I was handling all the commercial stuff.
But commercial side stuff is very stressful. In my older days.
The fact that I really like residential coz it’s much more calming and relaxing. It’s more of a passion and what I really like. So, then I just focused on residential side, and as you know, so now I don’t do franchising. I eliminated that, and now we’re doing the residential. We are now a licensed general contracting company too.
Really my passion is residential. So that’s when I made a shift. I was in commercial for, see, it’s been about twelve or 14 years now. And residential, I’ve been over five years. So residential and obviously growing the COVERALLS aspect of it as well.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I take obstacles as learning opportunities, and that is why I am so seasoned & knowledgeable ;).
I’m a person who always find solutions, it drives me but more importantly provides my clients the service and team to reach all their goals.

Quit my great salary position to start my own – I had made several people lots, so I jumped off and started my own company. Investing in my side.
My back story is not ideal, and with many challenges, but I always land on my feet with Grace of God.
