I am Emma, a passionate co-founder of Detail Cleaning Services, established in 2009 from a family dream. My journey began in my college days, answering calls for my mother’s entrepreneurial aspirations. Soon, I discovered my love for the transformative power of our service – the ‘before’ calls with overwhelmed homeowners juggling careers, families, and pets and the joyous ‘after’ calls from clients who can now enjoy a clean home without giving up their valuable free time.
But my passion didn’t stop at cleaning. I was driven by the opportunity to create meaningful careers within my community. My dream was to cultivate a workplace culture that not only cleans homes but nurtures and values its employees. Today, I’m proud to say we’ve turned that dream into reality. We now provide our team with much more than just a job; we offer them careers complete with health insurance, vacation days, and 401k plans, all part of a work environment where each day is enjoyable and rewarding.
A pivotal moment came when my brother Ino, after serving in the Army, joined our team part-time while in college. His impact was immense, and upon completing his Business Management degree, he became a full-time co-owner. We made sacrifices to keep paying our staff during this closure and ensured they had safety equipment like masks and hand sanitizers. Luckily, our services were essential, allowing us to reopen quickly. This challenging time taught us valuable lessons in adaptability and resilience. We managed not only to get back on track but also to grow our business, thanks to our dedicated team. Through it all, our commitment to our employees and clients has been the driving force behind our success.

On the flip side, the city’s traffic and weather are less favorable. The frequent congestion can be challenging, and the hot, humid climate is often uncomfortable. These are small trade-offs, however, in a city with such vibrant diversity and culinary richness.
