Hidden Gems: Meet Monique Jose

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monique Jose.

Monique Jose

Hi Monique, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ever since I was a teen, I have had an interest in healing the body naturally. I enjoyed trying various alternative methods to health and experimenting with what worked well for me and what didn’t. It wasn’t until my mother and mother-in-law were both diagnosed with cancer that I took a deep dive into additional healing practices. I knew there was more for me to learn. I wanted to heal my family so we would avoid the same suffering my mother and mother-in-law had endured. That’s when I set out to find what I was missing. I came across the healing modalities of the Emotion Code and the Body Code created by Dr. Bradley Nelson. He teaches that our bodies hold on to trapped emotions and other energetic imbalances that affect every part of our lives. I knew I had come across something extremely powerful, and the link I was missing was to balance all areas of my life. Using energy healing, you can release the energies from the trauma you have experienced and start seeing improvements and changes in the quality of your life.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road, but a journey filled with much learning and growth. Balancing life and chipping away at finding my true purpose has been a challenge. I have struggled with wanting to be extremely present and simultaneously looking forward, finding my way through the maze of discovering who I am here to serve. I love helping clients heal and find solutions to their struggles. On the path of self-discovery, I have been able to teach the knowledge I have gained to those close to me, my clients, and other healing practitioners.

I love learning and witnessing others grow and advance!

We’ve been impressed with Monique Jose, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have created a unique energy healing practice in Houston, TX. I combine a wealth of knowledge stemming from over 20 years in the corporate world and a deep passion for the healing arts as well as my roles as a wife and mother. I have also gained extensive knowledge from family members who have suffered from cancer, as well as how to heal from growing up in a household of divorce.

In order to heal, it is important to know and understand that our reality is created by the energies and beliefs we hold in our subconscious mind. In order to change our reality and create something new or different, we must free ourselves from the connection we have to events in our past where these imbalances and beliefs originated. Energy healing is a simple way to releases trauma and trapped energetic imbalances from the psyche. When healing of the subconscious mind occurs, your reality begins to evolve, too.

I love helping clients to uncover and heal the events they have experienced in order to move them forward closer and closer to their goals. I have been gifted with a strong intuition, incredible energy testing abilities, and discernment to heal the origin of an issue.

I have been able to dramatically improve the quality of my life and have done the same for many clients. My clients appreciate my diligence, fervor, and non-judgmental approach.

When working with clients, I utilize applied kinesiology (or muscle testing) to connect energetically to the client at a distance to energy test and release imbalances. Sessions are virtual, which makes healing very convenient for our busy schedules and a great way to avoid the heavy traffic in Houston.

Monique holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Masters of Business Administration and has certifications in the Emotion Code, the Body Code, and Soul Speak modalities.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Yes, what has worked well for me is creating my own small group of ladies with similar interests. Meeting monthly for about an hour to two hours seems to work nicely. We have created a positive and supportive network, and we look forward to our gatherings. I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, so I went out and created it myself.
