Today we’d like to introduce you to Keshia Jones.
Hi Keshia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Back in 2017, I started as a MUA in Houston, TX. In an effort to advance my skill set, I enrolled in Esthetics School in 2019. Here, I began to fall in love with skincare. I was able to clear my acne-prone skin and wanted to be able to help people who are suffering from acne to get clear. I immediately started working as an esthetician at a local Med Spa where I was able to garner invaluable skills and training to help me clear my clients. In 2020, when COVID hit, I lost my job and was unable to find Aesthetic/Medical Spas that were open and/or hiring. So, I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own Spa. Since then, I have been able to help treat and clear over 300 clients with my ethical and customized approach to acne and skincare.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road at all. From opening during the Covid-19 pandemic and having zero clients, it has been a very hard journey, but I have learned so much, and my passion for my work has been able to help me gain the trust of my clients.
