Hi Meghan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Who doesn’t look forward to a great party??? I have built a business around my passion for party planning for the past 20+ years. I specialize in children’s parties and detailed, intimate gatherings, but I have done it all!
I worked as an Event Manager and Wedding Planner for both corporate and non-profit organizations. While I loved the larger events, I realized that I was longing for more of a connection with customers, so I started MW Events.
Each event is unique, and I would love to be a part of making yours memorable. From getting started with a theme to helping with the finishing touches, I look forward to exceeding your and your guest’s expectations.
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
The biggest challenge I am always facing is selling a service and not a tangible product. Building a professional portfolio takes time.
A memorable and detailed service was always my number 1 client goal! I am proud to say that I have reached the point where word of mouth is my largest marketing tool. My clients and community have been extremely supportive.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am known for my excitement! I truly love what I do, and it is contagious. It makes working with my clients magical.
I want this to be a wonderful experience for them so they can enjoy the party as well as their guests. I hone in on the details and carry them from the invitation to the favor and everything in between.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Of course, my biggest cheerleaders are my family, and I am creating little event planner monsters!
Activities run rampant in our house, and I love that they give me the space to be creative outside of the home!
Creatively, I lean on all my vendors! I absolutely believe in supporting small businesses and building relationships.
