Hi Demetria “MzMetchi” , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey into media began when I pivoted away from event planning. An opportunity arose for me to be a guest on a radio platform, and it immediately sparked my interest. Shortly after, I was offered a radio show with two other hosts, but it quickly came to an end. Undeterred, I launched my own show, #TheBlueprintRadio, and I have been on air ever since. My mission is to highlight small business owners, artists, creatives, and others making an impact in their respective industries.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has definitely not been a smooth road. Transitioning into a completely different industry meant learning a lot quickly. I had to become more business-oriented and figure out how to lighten my load as a solopreneur.

I am a commercial real estate professional, media personality, entrepreneur, talent manager and beauty influencer, best known for my syndicated hit radio show, #TheBlueprintLive. I love being the connector for entrepreneurs, artists, and creatives, always promoting my affiliates and the brands I work with. Celebrating five amazing years in the industry and helping countless businesses and brands along the way is a source of great pride for me. Balancing a full-time career in commercial real estate while excelling in the media space has been a true blessing. What sets me apart is my commitment to the principles of my business, ensuring that everyone wins, not just me.
How do you think about happiness?
These days, what makes me the happiest is moving to the beat of my own drum. I cherish the days when my calendar is clear, allowing me to follow my heart’s true desires. Life is often busy, so I truly value the moments when I can do what I want to do.
