Inspiring Conversations with Kimberly Ware of Divine Images Boutique

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Ware.

Kimberly Ware

Hi Kimberly, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have been in the beauty industry for 25 years, working as a hair colorist and skin care professional. I have always enjoyed encouraging and helping women feel good about themselves. I have owned my salon, Divine Images Salon, for most of those years.

I added a boutique and gift shop to my salon in 2016 as a way to add more value to helping my clients with their fashion image. During the Covid year, I became intrigued by the idea of selling online. I began my research and studied the most effective way to have a salon online; hence, the online Divine Images Boutique was started in 2020.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
The biggest obstacle was learning and feeling comfortable to go live on social media. I can talk all day to people in person, but the idea of talking into the camera phone and not knowing who was watching was foreign and intimidating to me.

As you know, we’re big fans of Divine Images Boutique. For our readers who might not be as familiar with the brand, what can you tell them?
I have had my online boutique since 2020 and opened boutique booths in the Painted Tree, a boutique mall, in 2023. I specialize in women’s apparel and accessories.

I also focus on western rodeo styles during the season for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I am a volunteer and cater to many women who are volunteers for the HLSR. Also, I stay true to myself for my brand. I want to get to know my clients, and I want them to know I genuinely care about helping them with their image from the inside out.

I care about what they are looking for and aim to be their personal shopper. I encourage them also to step outside of the box and try new styles that will flatter them.

So, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you before we go? How can they support you?
I’m always interested in offering fashion shows and speaking to women to help motivate them to be all they were intended to be. If anyone is interested in offering this to their viewers, I would love to collaborate.
