I am Sharon C. Jenkins, affectionately known as “Super Author Granny.” As a best-selling, award-winning author and a powerhouse in business communications, entrepreneurship, book coaching, publishing, and marketing, my days are spent thriving as an entrepreneur. By night, I transform into the formidable “Super Author Granny,” a literary dynamo. I started writing at the age of eight; the rest is history.
My passionate commitment to God and literature drives my dual mission: empowering authors to fully embrace their roles as writers and helping grandparents preserve their life stories as enduring legacies. Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Strategic Communications, I strive to be a trailblazer in both literary and Christian communities. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Pursuing a career as a writer without a formal education in journalism has been both challenging and rewarding. My passion for writing has been the driving force behind my journey. I stumbled into this writing career while initially aiming for a speaking career, and for years, writing was just a hobby. My true love was reading books and the people who created them.

We’d love to learn more about your work. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc?
I specialize in helping aspiring authors bring their book babies to life. As a book coach and mentor, I guide writers through the entire process, from conception to publication. My expertise lies in nurturing their creativity, providing practical strategies, and supporting them every step of the way. I am known for my passionate dedication to empowering authors and helping them transform their ideas into impactful, well-crafted books.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the incredible work my clients create and how they use their books to make a difference in the world. Seeing them achieve their dreams and witnessing the positive impact their stories have on readers is immensely gratifying.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is my genuine compassion and admiration for authors. To me, they are superheroes, bravely sharing their stories and knowledge with the world. My heartfelt commitment to their success and my deep respect for their journey make my approach unique and truly supportive.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is that genuinely loving people is essential when serving them. Building authentic relationships and truly caring for those you help not only enriches their experience but also makes the work deeply fulfilling and impactful.
