Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi, my name is Anya, and I’m super excited to share my story with you. People often say I’m exotic because of my accent, green eyes, positive energy, and unique mindset. But I believe what truly sets me apart is the happiness I spread and the positive impact my experiences and outlook have on others.
I was born and raised in Yekaterinburg, the fourth largest city in Russia. I had a happy childhood. My family was very intelligent, with my dad and grandma holding respected positions at the biggest university in my city. They taught me to appreciate life deeply. I was always surrounded by interesting people and frequently attended theaters and art exhibits, which sparked my love for people and culture.
When I was 19, I visited Texas for the first time (almost by accident) while I was a college student. I instantly fell in love with Houston. I was amazed by the city’s diversity, the sight of alligators walking on the streets after a storm, and the poisonous snakes that made walking barefoot on the grass impossible (something I was enjoying when I was a child). That was so exotic to me! Meeting so many amazing people here and always living in the sunshine year round was incredibly attractive to me, and I decided that I wanted to stay and continue my life in this beautiful city.
Throughout my life, I’ve believed that happiness isn’t something that happens all the time but something we choose to see and create. People often ask me, “How can you always be so happy?” The truth is, I’m not always happy, but I choose to be grateful and focus on the positive things in life. Happiness comes from within. Working with people and helping them improve their lives makes me feel complete and happy.
I have big ambitions to achieve great things in life and leave a legacy behind for my three beautiful, smart kids who are a very important part of me. I cherish spending time with them, and people often praise how well I balance everything.
I am extremely creative and love seeing life from different perspectives because it makes everything more fun. To me, life is a game. For my kids, I’ve always loved celebrating every milestone. I put a lot of time and attention into making their events and parties very special, which led me to start a party and event decorating business. I absolutely loved it, but the schedule was taking away my weekends. I really wanted to spend more time with my kids, so I I made a decision to step away and focus on creating videos for brands and businesses.
One big moment in my life was discovering the power of building a personal brand on social media. It felt like a new adventure where I could use my love for helping businesses shine online. This journey has been both exciting and tough, especially as a mom of three kids. Balancing my business and being a mom is hard, but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right?
My life philosophy is to live each moment to its fullest. Life is short, and we need to appreciate every experience. This helps me put together the chaotic pieces of life and find beauty in the journey. As a solo mom, I face many challenges, but the rewards are huge. My success is not just in my work but also in raising my kids to be the best versions of themselves.
People often ask, “Anya, how do you do it all?” The answer is my strong belief in the power of personal branding and my faith in people. I love making the right connections and sharing my energy. I just love life – whether I’m dressing up to attend an event with my close friends, dancing salsa all night long or reading books (in russian language of course!) to my kids while cuddling in pajamas – I love it all. We all come from different backgrounds, each with our own special talents and experiences. My goal is to inspire others to see their own uniqueness, connect with their strengths, and live life with passion.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A smooth road might sound appealing, but it can actually be quite dangerous because it leaves no room for growth. The real beauty of life’s journey lies in its challenges and how we overcome them.
Moving to a new country and adapting to a completely different culture was a huge shock for me. I thought I knew some English, but I was wrong. I could not understand anyone here at all for a while. It wasn’t easy, but my passion for new adventures kept me going. Houston, with its endless sunshine, became my sanctuary, lifting my spirits and helping me embrace change with open arms.
I believe that everything we experience, both good and bad, is leading us to where we’re meant to be. I like this saying that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react. So to me it’s not really the strength, it’s the perception that makes us stronger. When we change how we see it, you will change how we feel about it.
My current challenge is being a solo mom of three while running a business. Obviously it’s not easy but if life is presenting me with this challenge, it means I can handle it. It also means I have the opportunity to learn and share my valuable experiences with people because I know my voice matters and what I go through can really help someone.

My journey started with a degree in printing technology and web design, but my passion for creativity has always been a big part of who I am. Growing up, I was surrounded by theater, music and art, which shaped my creative personality.
I believe video is one of the best ways to express yourself. My business helps people and businesses share their stories through video. People love my energy and how I make them feel good and motivated.
I have a special talent for making people feel comfortable doing uncomfortable things. I see each project as a fun way to express yourself, which makes working with me enjoyable and stress-free. My creative editing skills turn simple videos into engaging stories. I also love creating user-generated content (UGC) for brands.
What makes my brand unique is my mix of technical skills and positive, genuine approach. I’m proud of how I can turn simple ideas into powerful stories that connect with people. My goal is to help people express their unique stories and connect with their audience in meaningful ways.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The most important quality behind my success is my vibrant energy. Positivity is contagious, right? People find my energy attractive and uplifting, and I believe it comes from several talents that work well together.
First, I have strong emotional strength. I can lift people’s spirits and help them feel better, freeing them from negative emotions and unlocking their creativity. I really enjoy this, and I often play this game with myself – how long would it take me to change stranger’s frown upside down! I set a positive, energetic mood that boosts everyone’s efficiency and happiness.
My analytical skills are another key factor. I can process information in unique ways and come up with fresh, creative solutions. I see things differently (it’s just so much fun this way!) and find new insights that inspire others.
I am such a life lover! I embrace every situation with confidence, knowing I can overcome any challenge. My enthusiasm for life helps me face problems positively and encourages others to do the same.
Growing and expanding projects and businesses is another talent of mine. I know how to maximize results and drive success in everything I do. This ability helps me and others achieve great outcomes.
Generating ideas is a strength I’m proud of. I create new concepts that open up opportunities for people. My ideas inspire learning and growth, and of course I love sharing them with others.
Balancing work and family life is a challenge, but I believe I handle it well. It’s not something we can find, but its definately something we can create. I make sure to invest time in personal growth and self-care. When I’m with my kids, it’s quality time, and when I work, I’m focused. This balance, though not perfect, is crucial for a happy life. The balance has to be within you.
