Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Ardite
Hi Lauren, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Cuba, i came to United States at 23 years old in 2021. I was a medicine student in cuba but i dropped out of med school because i knew i couldnt achieve my life goals there, so i had to drop out so i could be “free” to leave Cuba at any point of time. After dropping out pf school, i pursued my passion for makeup and started working for photographers as their MUA in 2018. When I came to america i got my Medical Assistant certification and started working as a MA, and saving money to start my makeup business in here, it took me a couple months to get what i needed, but finally i made it and it’s been a long journey until now and im still building my clientele and my brand name. I currently work as a social media manager for The Lind Institute of Plastic Surgery and I do my makeup business as my side hustle. I love what I do and couldn’t be more happy with all my achievements.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As an inmigrant on my own, my parents are in Cuba, It was like being born again but without my parents protection. It hasn’t been easy at all, but I’m a strong person and I’ve managed to push myself more everyday.

Im a makeup artist, content creator, photographer & social media manager
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Being healthy and being able to achieve my life goals makes me happy. Having a supportive partner and family, and seeing my business grow everyday
