Hidden Gems: Meet Larry Allen II of IndustreetsTV

Today we’d like to introduce you to Larry Allen II

Hi Larry, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Larry Allen II, I’m an A&R & Director and CEO of IndustreetsTV.
The idea for Industreets TV was sparked in the Summer of 2019 after a conversation with my friend & business partner and friend, Quindon Hall (Qthespeaker) where we brainstormed ways we could inform our peers and the masses. After countless hours thinking and planning I came of with Industreets TV.

The brand IndustreetsTV is the ultimate destination for culture, information, and art. We’re more than just a media company; we’re your #1 plug for celebrity news, and entertainment. From exclusive interviews to behind the scenes vlogs, and the dopest music video reactions. IndustreetsTV brings our viewers the freshest in entertainment, we’ve got you covered. Plus, we’re the go-to source for Hip-Hop & news for the culture, capturing the latest stories directly from the source with integrity and openness. Whether it’s exclusive shots from the red carpet or unvarnished moments on the streets, we’re always on the scene, delivering the most recent updates.

Since the launch IndustreetsTV (2020) a subsidy of Grand Spectrum Media of our official YouTube channel @IndustreetsTV, we have had 1.1 million impressions and we also average around 9,000 impressions, and a personal reach of 25,000 on my @lanotfromcali page on Instagram. Our content has been highlighted on media outlets such as HipHop DX, an online outlet that reaches about 3.5 million readers monthly. They recently picked up our “Hot on the Block” interview with rapper Sauce Walka where he gave his opinion on the controversy surrounding rapper Gunna’s song, “Pushing P”. We’ve also covered many red carpet events, including Zeus’s premiere of “Baddies West” interviewing Blueface & Chrisean Rock. We’ve also designed graphic designs for content aired on Tubi, and Amazon Prime for the film “Dirty 3rd The Next Generation”.

Since the story covering Sauce Walka, we’ve focused more on narrative pieces and covering stories that provide more information and research to retain a journalistic approach, in our “Hot On The Block” interviews. You can check out our new interview style, and music video breakdowns on @IndustreetsTV on YouTube.

Currently, we have also been in partnership with Prairie View A&M University overseeing a media and entertainment internship since 2021.
This internship program allows college students an experiential learning approach grounded in the real world of music production and marketing. It also uses a unique educational model to place students in work settings at the center of their educational experience. Our aim is for the students to hone their skills of branding, marketing, and content curation to create a portfolio of content for rising artists, digital brands, and entrepreneurs for the Gen-Z and Generation Alpha audiences.

One of my biggest obstacles has been accessing resources and connections that will help build the brand and solidify us as a media network. Whether through funding or grants we would be happy to expand our brand and help artist and entrepreneurs alike to achieve the goals in business and artist in their musical careers and further brand them to attain possible brand partnerships.

We’ve been able to help more artist with achieving opportunities for synch placements, as well as making sure their registered properly with publishing companies and music rights organizations to fully be able to benefit from their talents. My educational career at New York University Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music (2023 Graduate) helped in my knowledge of the business of music, as well as become a better A&R as well when consulting artist that I work with.

Currently i’ve had the opportunity of A&R for The Sauce Familia (TSF) Label, working with multiple artist on the Label from Sauce Walka, Sosamann, Big Gwop4x, Sauce Gohan, Sauce Wood Winnin and many more. I also have had the opportunity of working with other artist and producers such as Heffe Pablo, and Fresh Life Jermo.

My Goals for 2024 are centered around gaining more capital to bring new ideas and visual concepts to bring our viewers and fans more entertaining content and quality production.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some of the struggles I have faced mostly deal with having a solid group of individuals around me to not only maintain and nurture the growth of the company but to also help scale the company to reach its full potential. I feel having a strong team will definitely help IndustreetsTV go to the next level in the music media and journalism space.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
