Bray Tha Youngin, is a 12 year old music artist from Hempstead, Texas. He was born to Brandon Scott Sr. from Fort Worth, Texas and Sherry Thompson, AKA Ree Ree, a female rapper from The 445. Bray Tha Youngin has three siblings through his mother (2 sisters and 1 brother). He has three siblings through his father (two brothers and 1 sister).
Bray Tha Youngin is currently signed with County Line Record Label. His mother/label mate, Ree Ree, is the CEO/Owner of the label. His cousin/producer/manager, Tevo Tevo, President of County Line Record Label and CEO of Moneybagg Empire Music Group/Empire Recording Studios is what Bray Tha Youngin and his team consider to be the key to the ignition as he leads the team to opportunities and navigates the team through the industry. His 14 year old cousin/co-producer/assistant manager/artist of Moneybagg Empire Music Group, Travis AKA Lil T dedicates his time in the studio collaborating/recording Bray Tha Youngin. His aunt, Andrea Slaughter, AKA Tookie is the road manager for the label. His cousins/marketeers, Temiya AKA Miya (Age 9), and Daray AKA Bagg Boy (Age 5), promote via marketing material to those attending the events.
Bray Tha Youngin’s interest in becoming an artist onset when he accompanied his mother to Tevo Tevo’s studio. Bray Tha Youngin’s mother found notebooks around their home with his lyrics which intrigued her to introduce him to the music industry. Bray Tha Youngin began his music career at the age of 10 when he dropped his first single, “Stop Cappn”. After his relocation, he dropped another single, “Funny Mike” in March 2024. During spring break 2024, Bray Tha Youngin recorded 14 songs. In May 2024, Bray Tha Youngin released his first mixtape, “Tha Youngin” in May 2024. The mixtape includes solo songs and songs featured with Lil T, Mr. Handiclap Yoho, Ransom, D3, 700O.B, and Tevo Tevo.
Bray Tha Youngin enjoys recording music, dancing, playing basketball/football, and playing video games. His favorite rappers are NBA Youngboy, Lil King, Lil RT, and Big Yavo. Currently, Bray Tha Youngin is working on multiple projects. His mixtape with his co-producer, Lil T is dropping soon! He’s working on his album and multiple singles. He’s scheduled to drop an EP with one of Austin’s producers, ChillyRed Beats and SleepyKid Beats. Bray Tha Youngin is the Co-CEO of County Line Record Label, a music label established by his mother, Ree Ree 445. He is inspired by new wave artists in the industry such as NBA Youngboy, Big Yavo, and many more.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being an artist can be difficult at times given the fact that I’m still young and learning. My label is managed by my family members who raise the bar for me so I can be successful
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a 12 year old music artist. I specialize in hip hop. I’m known for being a young artist in the music industry. I’m proud of myself, my mom for inspiring me, and my family for supporting me.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a very quiet kid. I’m quiet, but outgoing in the music industry. I’m very smart, respectful, creative, and goal driven. I enjoy making music, playing sports, and playing video games.
