Today we’d like to introduce you to Andreina Monsalve
Hi Andreina, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Since I was very young, sports have been a fundamental part of my life, thanks to the influence of my parents, who instilled in me a love for physical activity. I practiced various disciplines during my childhood, and in my teenage years, I asked my mother to take me to the gym with her. With her support and permission, I developed healthy habits that have evolved and still accompany me today.
That love for physical activity led me to develop my personal brand, AndreFitMonsalve. Through this brand, I created a revolutionary method called RetoAndreFit, a program that has helped thousands of Hispanic women across the United States and around the world. My methodology has evolved alongside scientific advancements and new discoveries in fitness and health. I have managed to connect with a global community of women who aspire to enhance their winning personalities (which we all have) while discovering new habits that allow them to achieve better health and well-being.
I call my project “La Fábrica de Muñecas,” which translates to “The Doll Factory.” All the ladies in my community have their own stories and transform inside and out into dolls—gorgeous, confident, and happy to help, support, and make other ladies happy. Through this project, I have created training programs that transform bodies and help women rediscover their self-love and authenticity, becoming the best version of themselves.
This transformation is not only due to the coaching they receive from me but also because of the incredibly supportive community we’ve built over the years.
I have witnessed countless stories of personal growth and empowerment through this journey. Women who once doubted themselves now walk confidently and strongly, ready to face any challenge. The RetoAndreFit program is more than just a fitness regimen; it catalyzes profound change, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual encouragement. Every success story is a testament to the power of community and the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood we have nurtured.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but I can’t say it’s been an unhappy journey either, you know? My greatest happiness comes from knowing that this personal and business growth process hasn’t felt like an obligation or a burden. Instead, it has remained fueled by a burning passion because it aligns with my life mission: to change and improve as many lives as possible through my work. I’ve always been transparent about my “why,” even when the “how” wasn’t so clear. I’ve realized that the “how” always appears when we know our “why.”
Along the way, I’ve encountered many “no’s” and “yes’s.” Since becoming AndreFitMonsalve, I’ve focused and sacrificed many other lives to achieve my dreams and help other women achieve theirs. I feel that my journey has inspired my community to lead their paths.
For example, I developed my dream brand of supplements from scratch. There was a lot of uncertainty at the beginning of that project. Still, today, I can proudly say that my supplement brand is also a demonstration of faith in my community that we can be successful businesswomen with determination and, above all, a clear vision of what we want.
Additionally, four years ago, I dared to create a mobile app from scratch to integrate everything in my RetoAndreFit program. This was another highly ambitious project, and I didn’t know it would have so many highs, lows, and profound learning experiences.
From both experiences, I highlight that we don’t need to be 100% prepared to fulfill our dreams. I definitely didn’t know the first thing about programming an app—haha—but my “why” was very clear, and that’s why I’ve been able to manifest these ambitious and challenging projects.
I’m excited to think about the future. I’m excited to think I can solve difficult problems and moments and align them to my advantage for growth. This is what I teach in my coaching sessions.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My clear sense of purpose has allowed me to manifest these challenging projects and overcome obstacles. I’m excited about the future and the potential for growth, not just for myself but for all the women I coach. This passion for resolving difficult situations and turning them into growth opportunities is something I instill in my coaching sessions.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I won’t share just one lesson, but three that I feel are fundamental: don’t wait until you’re 100% ready, trust the people who instinctively make you feel safe, and listen to your audience.
Firstly, not waiting until you’re 100% ready before taking action activates your resourcefulness muscle and enhances your creativity. Often, we hesitate to start something new because we feel unprepared. However, diving in despite feeling unready forces you to think on your feet and come up with innovative solutions. This approach has allowed me to push boundaries and achieve things I never thought possible.
Secondly, trusting the people who instinctively make you feel safe is crucial. Surrounding yourself with individuals who genuinely wish the best for you naturally propels you toward growth. These supportive relationships provide the confidence to take bold steps and develop extraordinary ideas. The reassurance that you have a reliable support system empowers you to venture beyond your comfort zone and strive for greatness.
Lastly, listening to your audience is essential. Understanding and connecting with those for whom your mission is intended is vital for developing successful brands. I make it a priority to read and listen to my community. This engagement allows me to tailor my programs to their needs and preferences. However, it’s important to balance listening with maintaining your self-perception. Constructive feedback should be seen as a valuable resource rather than a detractor from your vision. For me, listening to my audience is an invisible yet invaluable tool for success. It helps refine my approach and ensures that my offerings remain relevant and impactful.
These lessons have shaped my journey and contributed significantly to my growth and success. They have taught me to embrace uncertainty, value supportive relationships, and stay attuned to the needs of my community. Together, they form the foundation of my personal and professional development approach.
