Today we’d like to introduce you to Karen Caballero
Hi Karen, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am Karen Caballero cosmetologist and LVN nurse; owner of Glowevolve, beauty school and spa.
I opened Glowevolve because I wanted a business that would allow me to pursue my top passions & purpose in life which are, helping, learning & providing beauty services, evolving & teaching. I help my students and clients glow up and evolve with their physical appearance but also their mind. When you look good, you feel good and that inspires you to evolve in all aspects of your life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As soon as I opened this current location, a lot of stuff started growing really fast, but it took years to learn and figure myself and the business out without much visible return at first. I had to learn various skills within my profession, purpose, mind & business which were all essential for the success of Glowevolve. I started with a registered home salon in which I couldn’t apply many things I was learning because I didn’t want many clients while working from home. I still educated myself in all the skills I knew I would eventually need. I would even go drive for hours for a location, years before I could afford it so that I would know what a good deal was when I saw it. I then moved to a super tiny spa suite for about 5 months and then to the current location.

We offer beauty certifications for lashes, brazilian waxing, personal makeup & more. We also offer various spa services from Glowevolve & independent beauty professionals inside Glowevolve such as, brazilian & full body waxing, face reality acne bootcamp, clinical facials, lashes, massage & more. Current independent suites are 4 Elements Spa, Lanispa, Serafinspa & Wax Beaute.
