Hi Angel Lee, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My vision is to become a world-renowned hairstylist, but my plans were derailed when I was shot seven times by a man who wanted to take my life. However, God gave me another chance, and now I am determined to pursue my dreams despite being wheelchair-bound momentarily. I am fighting every day to regain my strength and learn to walk again. I am a living testimony of God’s grace and mercy, and I believe that anything is possible through Christ who strengthens me. Luke 1:37
I will use my platform to encourage others. No matter what happens in life never give up on your dreams.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a disabled hairstylist, I have not let my disability stop me from pursuing my passion for hair. I continue to work in the industry from my wheelchair and one day I will be back on my feet. To the people following my journey , it’s only just begun.

ANGELDIDMYHAIR, a small business located in Houston, Texas, has been providing top notch services to women, men, and children since forever. IFYKYK ! In addition, I have also had the privilege of servicing dogs and horses, showcasing my versatility and expertise. As I continue to grow my business, I remain committed to offering more services, and house visits in the future while upholding a fun professional and polished tone.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I have fond memories of playing with my dolls at the age of 4, as if I were a busy stylist at a salon. I’d lock myself in my room and spend hours styling their hair, patiently positioning them to sit still. My patience for children originates from the patience I developed while playing back then. I’ve been braiding hair for As long as I can remember. I’m the product of a dedicated mother.
