Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Spencer
Hi Robert , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all started when I was invited to a Mason brother Football game party. I had tried turkey necks before. I never even seen a turkey neck. Just watching the process of boiling them looked fun and easy. My only problem was they was too spicy for me. I asked him to teach me the game and taught me the basics. Then I put my twist on it and people started asking for me to boil for them and to do trail rides. Then I started doing events and it just happened for me .
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing comes easy. I’ve had a lot bumps and struggles in the beginning and I still do now, but you live and you learn from your mistakes. I just wish I had business mentor to help me along the way.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I’m not from Louisiana . After people taste my food they always ask me where im from. When I say Houston they say naw . This taste like back home .
