Meet Tiffani of Futuristic Edge LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffani

Hi Tiffani, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My grandmother spark my interest into fashion at a young age. In elementary school, maybe as young as five years old, I wore custom made dresses for picture day.

She was a full time nurse and part time entrepreneur. She sold Avon and resold on the side. Waking up in the we hours to go yard selling, have yard sales and vend at flea market booths was the norm for me. She instilled that in me. Buy low, make profit.

Shoes were always apparent. As I loved designs and styles. It didn’t matter what brand it was. As long as I liked it, I admired it.

Since high school, I resold here and there and was the middle “woman” connecting clients with products. In 2019 Fall, I spent $6,000 on a credit card and bought all heat of shoes I knew would raise in value. This later pushed me in December 2019 to collaborate with a clothing store in AR and the shoe business began. Though, the company was legally registered in 2018.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely being in business is like a rollercoaster ride! You better know how to coast the ride. At that time in my life, I was facing life changing events while growing a brand.

In 2020, I had over $20,000 in inventory and because of how I stocked and moved pairs I store, inventory kept me afloat. With money, comes envy. In business partnerships, if both parties are in alignment failure, delay of funds or abandon relationships can transpire.

Throughout it all from co-signing with other brands, building on social platforms, I learned that consistency and pivoting are the key to sustaining in business.

My initial motto may not have worked for many because the idea is to be liquid “as Heavenly Kicks, out of Houston would say.

When you had bad deals, stolen inventory of $xx,xxx and scarcity…quitting seemed like the thing to do! Thus, it never became an option.

For a while, many didn’t know it was a woman behind the brand. As, this is a male dominated field. And, at times it benefitted me not exposing that a woman is running the company. Now, IDGAF! I want them to know, lol.

We’ve been impressed with Futuristic Edge LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a brand that originated from a grandmother’s side hustle. Which, it turned into a business. The company is named after my grandmother Future. She still thrifts and create today. I always talk to her about the resell world. And, we go sourcing together when able.

Futuristic Edge specializes in shoes and apparel. There is something for everyone. We are known for custom orders and unique flips.

What sets us apart from others is we don’t have to sell to get a sale. When you be yourself, have what people want, and stay consistent-the business flows.

We will begin to utilize our website more, as we mainly do events and sell on others’ platforms. Moreover, we are growing as a business by doing live shows. Which, this brings a new area of networking.

As we are in a borrowed world, our time here is limited! Everyday is unpredictable as we do not know what tomorrow brings. In that case, make the best of what is at hands.

How do you think about happiness?
Waking up everyday to try life again makes me happy. Knowing I’m imperfect in an imperfect world makes me happy. Knowing that it is okay to experience emotions in this temporary world.

Here and there, I skateboard. I love good vegan food and I am EXTREMELY family oriented. Furthermore, if I can make one person smile a day↗️↗️↗️ I am the light.
