Hi Tawnie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always believed that perseverance and faith in yourself can carry you through the most challenging times. My journey started with a deep desire to help others, which is what led me to a career in education and instructional technology. But it wasn’t until I stepped into the world of business that I truly felt like I found my calling.
Early on, I was blessed to have mentors who showed me what strength and grace under pressure really look like. Their example stayed with me and shaped the way I approach leadership today. It’s about more than just hitting goals—it’s about investing in people, nurturing their potential, and watching them grow into their full power.
As my career evolved, I transitioned into sales and marketing, realizing how much I loved helping businesses and individuals thrive. This led me to Success Headway, where I now have the privilege of working as Chief Strategist Officer. Here, I get to help people—especially women—build businesses and lives that they love. My focus is on making sure they have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed, whether that’s through technology, marketing strategies, or mentorship.
But there was another part of me that craved more balance and peace. That’s why I started Holistic View Retreats. I wanted to create a space where women could not only grow professionally but also heal, recharge, and reconnect with themselves. It’s been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done—watching women come alive, find clarity, and leave the retreats with a sense of renewal.
Looking back, the path wasn’t always easy. There were moments of doubt, setbacks, and obstacles I didn’t see coming. But through it all, I trusted in my vision and refused to give up. I truly believe that each of us has a strength within us waiting to be unlocked, and I’m so grateful that my journey has allowed me to help others discover theirs.
I’m proud of the work I’ve done, but more than anything, I’m excited about what’s to come. My mission is still the same: to empower, uplift, and inspire women to know their worth and embrace the power that’s already within them.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest turning points for me came when I was laid off right after I had started my tech company. It was a moment of crisis and clarity all at once. I had to make a difficult decision: go back to the corporate world for security or take the risk and fully commit to living my dream of building Success Headway. It wasn’t an easy choice, but deep down, I knew that if I didn’t take this leap, I’d always wonder “what if.”
Walking away from a steady paycheck to pursue my own business was terrifying, especially after being laid off. But I had this vision and belief in what Success Headway could become, and that belief pushed me forward. I threw myself into the work, leaned on my network, and built the business from the ground up. It took resilience, long hours, and a lot of self-doubt along the way, but I knew that I had to trust in the process and in my own strength.
Looking back now, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Success Headway has allowed me to live my purpose by helping other people grow their businesses and pursue their passions, just as I did. It wasn’t the smoothest road, but it was absolutely worth it.

We offer yoga, meditation, cold plunges, and more in a peaceful environment where women can step away from their busy lives and focus on self-care. What I’m most proud of is the transformation I see in the women who attend. They walk in stressed, overworked, or feeling disconnected, and they leave feeling renewed, centered, and empowered to take on whatever comes next.
What I want readers to know about both of these brands is that they are built from a place of purpose and passion. Whether it’s helping someone grow their business through Success Headway or guiding them toward holistic wellness at Holistic View Retreats, the goal is always to uplift, inspire, and support people in living the life they truly want.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always full of energy—a tomboy who loved being outside, playing sports, and staying active. Soccer was my passion, and it taught me so much about discipline, teamwork, and resilience. The intensity of the game pushed me to always do my best, and being part of a team helped shape my love for collaboration and working toward a common goal.
I was also pretty independent and curious by nature. I liked figuring things out on my own and didn’t always follow the typical path, which led me to take risks in life and later, in business. That independent spirit is part of what drives me today.
As I got older, my faith became a big part of my life, offering me clarity and balance. It’s been a grounding force, guiding me through challenges and keeping me centered. That foundation of faith has helped me build both Success Headway and Holistic View Retreats, staying true to my purpose and values every step of the way.
