Check Out Jerri P Beasley’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jerri P Beasley

Hi Jerri P, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story is one of a little girl having a great imagination who was able to use it to tell stories that would positively uplift and inspire others, through live dramatic stage productions, television productions , radio shows and motivational speaking

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No the road has not been a smooth one because obstacles always appear on the road to divine purpose, one obstacle was to cause others to see what I did as a serious calling, oftentimes my delivery to some may appear too fun and casual to be considered true ministry but quite honestly, it’s that approach that has given me the longevity and the ability to be effective. I am a firm believer that life in itself can be hard, so there is no need for us to add to it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
The question what do I do has always been a hard one for me to answer because I’m still evolving and that which I thought I only did is surprisingly changing, I started this journey as a radio personality who also had the gift to write, so I began writing stage plays, I also realized that the stage plays turned into therapy sessions with people seeking me out for advice about addictions and mental health, so I decided to go back to school and become a certified Mental Health Coach, even in the midst of doing that I have been called upon by the Whitehouse to cover various stories for them which put me in a current position now as a Whitehouse correspondent . I’m most proud of my ability to follow the flow, which I know it to be the leading of God, while there are some things I do that seem to have no connection, I know that it all does, what sets me apart is that I follow the beat of my own drum and I don’t allow myself to be stereotyped into what others think is the norm for what I know I’ve been called to do, I’m able to switch it up when needed yet still able to be consistent and authentically me

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice is to find your flow and follow it, get in that space and place that you are genuinely passionate about and do it authentically, it’s good to admire others but be sure to remain true to you and how you are able to add a different flavor to anything you become apart of or inspire to be, it doesn’t matter how saturated the market is there is no one who does it like you
