As a mother of three, I continually guide my children in faith, spirituality, and personal growth. When my oldest started elementary school, their love for reading expanded, turning a family-based initiative into a publication opportunity across various channels.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The process of writing this book has involved navigating complex decisions about which opportunities to seize and which to forgo. Nonetheless, my book underscores the essential truth that our mistakes, though inevitable, do not dictate our identity.

Through colorful illustrations and relatable stories, this book encourages kids to see themselves through God’s eyes, fostering confidence and a sense of belonging.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
A surprising aspect of my personal story is the struggle to find myself, overcome shame from past errors, and align my self-perception with God’s viewpoint. Following years of hardship and deception by negative forces, I penned this book to safeguard my children from comparable struggles, ensuring they remain grounded in their faith and secure in the knowledge of God’s loving perspective on them.
