Check Out Genesis Guerra’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Genesis Guerra

Hi Genesis , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I became a notary approximately ten years ago, after transitioning from a career in the medical field. I chose to resign to become a stay-at-home mother and focus on family, as my spouse and I agreed that this would be the best decision for raising our children. Despite my commitment to family life, I have always sought to pursue my personal and professional aspirations, striving to achieve more while fulfilling my role as a mother.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
After years of careful consideration regarding my decision to file for divorce, I embraced the challenges of single motherhood for the past two years. During this period, I have successfully pursued my aspirations and made significant strides in both my education and personal goals. Although the journey has had its challenges, I have developed effective time management skills that align with my responsibilities as a mother. Through discipline and structure, I have navigated various aspects of my life independently, leading to my current accomplishments. I provide mobile services to my clients, and on some weekend projects, I have the opportunity to bring my child along, allowing them to witness my work and understand my motivations as an entrepreneur.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a local mobile notary and loan signing agent, serving real estate title companies. I am able to assist many Latin Houstonians

What distinguishes me from other local notaries is my reputation for reliability. I am fluent in Spanish and available 24/7, ensuring that I am just a phone call away to assist my clients. My proactive approach allows me to anticipate and meet my clients’ needs in a timely manner.

I take pride in the woman I have become. While going through a divorce is often viewed negatively, the challenges I faced motivated me to pursue my dreams and goals. This experience ultimately led to a healthier environment for my children and me. Without that difficult situation, I may not have reached my current achievements.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I firmly believe that placing God at the forefront of my endeavors will empower me to achieve my goals. I envision myself as a successful entrepreneur, helping our Houston community and consistently seeking new opportunities for growth. While I remain committed to my current path, I am dedicated to continuous learning and self-education to enhance my skills and knowledge.
