Conversations with Me’chelle Bradshaw-jackson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Me’chelle Bradshaw-jackson

Me’chelle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hey there! I’m a high-energy California native who kickstarted my fitness journey to boost body confidence, and now, I’m all about sharing that positivity. My classes are a safe haven for those a bit shy but eager to build strength, learn, and be cheered on by others who share similar fitness struggles and triumphs. As a certified nurse aide, acerbic trainer, business owner, wife, and mom, I bring a holistic approach to fitness, infusing my personal workouts into my classes, which feature a dynamic mix of bootcamp, twerk fitness, yoga and Pole. Let’s sweat, laugh, and thrive together!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road! One of the biggest challenges I faced was finding reliable and honest studio owners to rent space from. On top of that, I’m not a technical person, so learning how to navigate social media and various media platforms for selling tickets and promoting my business was a steep learning curve; I’ve gotten better. Managing business taxes and keeping everything organized has also been a challenge. I strive to stand out by offering unique classes and running them in a way that truly caters to each client, whether they’re new or returning, ensuring everyone feels supported and valued in their fitness journey.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At **Sweat.Twerk.Werk** (STW), we’re all about creating a fun, supportive, and empowering space for people to achieve their fitness goals. We specialize in group classes like bootcamp, pole, and resistance training, along with dance fitness that delivers REALISTIC results. Our clients love us for more than just fitness – we also offer **Celebration Pop-Ups**, where you get your own personal twerk dance and goodie bag to celebrate everything from divorces to birthdays, new jobs, weight loss, and even weight gain (because sometimes, gaining those curves is a victory too!).

What sets STW apart is that we provide a real community that holds you accountable, offering nutrition tips that won’t break the bank and helping you love your body through the entire process. We meet you where you are, providing support every step of the way. On top of that, we’re proud to support local entrepreneurs around Houston by giving them space to sell and promote their products, and we’re known for standing by our clients outside of classes. Whether you’re new or returning, we cater to your needs and help you build confidence with every session.
