Today we’d like to introduce you to John Tankersley.
Thanks for sharing your story with us John. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Started as a player in 1993 and loved paintball so much it turned into a business in 1998. Since 1998, I have built and grown to be one of the premier fields by drawing players from all over TX. My mission is to open paintball up to everyone that wants to try the game. I love what I do and look forward to each day.
With a great staff and awesome friends (customers become friends), TANKS is a great park to begin your paintball adventure.
Has it been a smooth road?
If a small business owner tells you they had a smooth road to building a business then they must be the only one. I have had many hurdles, mountains and valleys to get through to be where we are today. The old saying “if it was easy then everyone would do it” rings very true. I and my family have had many rough weeks growing our business but hard work and creativity is what makes us.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Tanks Paintball Parks – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
TANKS started as a dream to one day have my own paintball park. TANKS has grown into an amazing facility for all levels of players. I am proud of my staff that works with me and makes each guest feel special when you visit TANKS.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
As a lifelong Houstonian, I love our city for the challenges we overcome with each issue we face. Houstonians are kind but strong and that makes my city the best!
I dislike the crime that has been growing over the past decade but I know that our law enforcement departments will do all they can to keep our families safe.

- Single player all day entry with all equipment and 100 paintballs is $30
- Our awesome Bday parties for 10 people with private play and all equipment and paintballs is $350
