Today we’d like to introduce you to Eduardo Perme
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story goes beyond just photography; I consider myself a literal angel—fun fact: I even have a halo! Born at just 630 grams and 24 weeks, I faced numerous complications and spent much of my early life in and out of the hospital. Growing up and finding my place in the world was challenging, but I persevered. For me, knowledge is power.
I hold an Associate’s degree in Digital Communication/Digital Photography, another Associate’s in Cybersecurity, and a Bachelor’s in Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity.
I am honored to share my journey as a deaf and hard-of-hearing photographer with Voyage Magazine. My passion for photography ignited at a young age, allowing me to connect deeply with the world, its people, and communities through my lens. As a deaf person, I often hear that we possess a unique ability to engage our senses, which sets us apart in beautiful ways.
Photography is more than a passion; it’s my way of capturing the beauty of the world and the stories within it. I’ve been fortunate to receive support and appreciation from many who recognize my talents and work ethic.
Through my lens, I aim to showcase the diversity of art and emphasize the importance of embracing our differences. Each photograph tells a story, and I hope to inspire others to see the world through a new perspective.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Despite the challenges of being deaf, photography has become my voice and my bridge to connect with others. Life is far from perfect, filled with ups and downs, but through photography, I have discovered a unique way to communicate.
Navigating a world where smooth paths are rare, photography serves as my true filter, allowing me to express my vision and share the beauty I see through my lens. Capturing moments frozen in time brings me solace and fosters a connection that transcends any barriers imposed by my deafness.
I have faced numerous challenges, from humiliation to disrespect, but each experience has only deepened my resolve and commitment to my art.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
What sets me apart from others is finding my strength in my weaknesses.
PermePhotography offers a wide range of photography services, specializing in event coverage’s, nature photography, real estate photography, product photography, commercial projects and more. My ability is to capture the essence of moments and translate them into visually compelling stories that resonate with viewers.
As a person I am known for my calmness, patience, kindness, loyalty, respect, ethics, trustworthiness, authenticity, safety and genuine character.
What I am most proud of aside from my multitude of talents, is the ability to embrace the life I am given and utilize my character and personalities to spread peace and love into others. What really matters to me is not what is bought but what we built; not what we got but what we shared; not our competence but our character; not our success, but our significance.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
The best advice is self preservation. Learn as much as you can, learn many skills, techniques, styles as you can along the way. Be observant, wise, aware, skeptical, and humble.
Encourage learning the business side of things and always find creative loop holes to stand out and be unique in your own art.
