Check Out Tanya Hernandez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanya Hernandez

Hi Tanya , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi, I’m Tanya, the stylist behind the chair. After earning my cosmetology license in 2013, I dove right into my career as a hairdresser and immersed myself in hair color theory to develop my skills.

Over the years, I discovered my passion for creating natural, lived-in color and refined my expertise in dimensional balayage and hair extensions, giving clients even more ways to achieve their desired look. Four years ago, I took the leap of faith to start my own business, focusing on personalized, effortless beauty. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to do what I love.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest challenges in the beauty industry is staying on top of ever-changing trends and client expectations while also marketing myself. Balancing my work behind the chair, caring for clients, and creating content can be tricky. Building my brand from the ground up was scary at first, but these obstacles have fueled my passion and taught me resilience. They’ve reinforced the importance of truly listening to my clients’ needs while also being true to myself and giving myself grace along the way.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
