Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started cosmetology school at The Paul Mitchell School in Houston in 2012, but looking back, I wish I’d gone to esthetician school instead. By the time I realized the program wouldn’t focus on skin and makeup, I was already halfway through. After graduation, I worked as an apprentice in a hair salon, but as a single mom, working every Saturday took precious time away from my son. I eventually left and took a 9-5 job that gave me weekends off to spend with him. Over the next 10 years, life happened – I got married and had two daughters, but my love for the beauty industry never faded.
In 2022, I took my first microblading class, and Haus of Luxe Studios was born. I started learning new skills like Brazilian waxing, lash lifts, brow lamination, tinting, and shaping. While still working my 9-5, I’d take clients in the evenings and weekends, supported by my husband—because let’s be real, mom guilt is real, especially with three kids! Eventually, I left my 9-5 to focus full-time on my business. Now, I get to help women feel beautiful and give them a little “me time”. I couldn’t be more excited to continue doing what I love.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has been a learning experience that’s shaped me and my business. Building a loyal clientele, especially in a competitive beauty industry, takes time, persistence, and creativity. I’ve also had to navigate the delicate balance between work, life, and motherhood. No one prepares you for the reality of being your own accountant, receptionist, HR department, janitor, content creator—and working around the clock.
Another major hurdle was taking the leap to leave my secure 9-to-5 job. Many people thought I was crazy to leave a steady paycheck to pursue a career doing brows and waxing, but I had a vision and a passion I couldn’t ignore. Despite the doubts, I’m proud I took that risk because I’ve created something meaningful with Haus of Luxe Studios. These struggles have pushed me to grow and taught me resilience and the value of believing in myself and my business.

At Haus of Luxe Studios, I specialize in helping busy women feel confident and beautiful in their natural look through personalized brow artistry and hair removal services. My focus is on Brazilian waxing, powder brows, lash lifts, and expertly shaping brows for women who want to save time in their daily routines while enhancing their natural beauty.
I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients. Seeing them leave with a smile and a boost in confidence is the most rewarding part of my work. I’m also proud of taking the leap to start this business and growing it into a space where women feel comfortable and cared for.
What sets me apart is my dedication to creating a safe and welcoming space for every client. I understand that waxing and brow services can feel vulnerable for many people, so I prioritize making my clients feel comfortable, respected, and at ease throughout the process.
I take the time to understand each client’s unique needs, whether they’re looking for help shaping their brows or seeking a smooth, stress-free waxing experience. My goal is to provide not just a service but a space where my clients can relax, trust the process, and leave feeling confident and cared for.
I’ve come to understand just how important self-care is—and how, so often, we don’t put ourselves first.

For the future, I’m focused on growing Haus of Luxe Studios into a go-to destination for women seeking personalized brow artistry and hair removal services. I want to continue building my client base and looking forward to continuing to grow while helping women feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
I’m also planning to invest in ongoing education to stay at the forefront of industry trends and techniques, ensuring my clients always get the best. A long-term goal is to create a larger, more luxurious space for my services—something that feels like a true escape for busy women.
