Scentify Essence was born out of one of the most challenging chapters of my life. Losing my mother to lung cancer was a devastation that shook me to my core. In the depths of grief, I felt lost, but in that darkness, I also found a spark—a chance to honor her memory and create something beautiful.
The journey wasn’t easy, but it was transformative, much like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis. What started as a personal outlet of healing—blending scents that reminded me of her essence—has grown into a thriving business. Along the way, I’ve discovered resilience I didn’t know I had, strength I never imagined, and a deeper connection to myself and my purpose.
Today, Scentify Essence isn’t just about candles or fragrances; it’s about transformation. It’s about finding light in the shadows, embracing the journey, and creating moments that inspire others to find beauty in their own transformations.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been anything but smooth, but every bump along the way has shaped me and my business. Grieving the loss of my mother while trying to build Scentify Essence was incredibly challenging. There were days when the weight of loss felt too heavy to keep going, but I reminded myself why I started: to honor her legacy.
As a small business owner, I faced financial constraints, learned countless lessons the hard way, and worked tirelessly to establish a brand in a competitive market. There were times I doubted myself and questioned whether I was strong enough to make it. But every struggle became a stepping stone.
Those challenges taught me resilience, creativity, and the importance of community. They reminded me that transformation isn’t always graceful—it’s messy, emotional, and difficult. But much like a butterfly’s journey, the struggle is what makes the wings strong enough to fly.

At Scentify Essence, I create luxury candles, diffusers, and wax melts that go beyond just fragrance—they tell stories and evoke emotions. Each product is crafted with intention, blending high-quality ingredients to transform spaces and moods.
What sets Scentify Essence apart is the personal touch and meaning behind every creation. Many of my products are inspired by memories, emotions, and my own journey of transformation. For example, ‘Endless Love,’ a candle I created in honor of my mother, represents the power of love and resilience.
I’m most proud of how Scentify Essence has connected with people on a deeper level. Hearing how my products bring comfort, joy, or nostalgia to someone’s life reminds me why I do this.
What truly sets us apart is the heart behind the brand. This isn’t just about selling candles; it’s about creating moments of mindfulness, sparking inspiration, and reminding others that beauty and strength can emerge from life’s most difficult moments.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
During the COVID-19 crisis, I hadn’t started Scentify Essence yet, but the lessons I learned during that time have been invaluable in navigating challenges as a business owner today. The pandemic taught me the importance of flexibility and finding creative ways to adapt during uncertain times.
I saw how vital it was for businesses to connect with their communities and meet people where they were, both emotionally and practically. That insight has shaped how I approach my work now—focusing on creating meaningful connections and offering products that bring comfort and joy, even in difficult moments.
COVID-19 also reminded me to prioritize resilience and mindfulness, both personally and professionally. These lessons have prepared me to face future challenges with creativity, patience, and the understanding that growth often comes from adversity.
