Today we’d like to introduce you to Susan Knapp
Hi Susan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Olive Mixology was founded by USAF veteran, Susan Knapp in 2024. My passion for cooking and creating unique and interesting cocktails began at the age of 25 and has blossomed into a passionate career. I started as a private bartender for friends and family and one day my best friend, Savara said, “You really need to start your own company!” And a few years later, it’s grown into what is now Olive Mixology LLC.
“I enjoy seeing the delite on the faces of my friends and family when they indulge in the many new dishes and cocktails I create. I love hearing stories of how certain flavors remind them of people or places. I guess you could say that my love language is creating the taste of nostalgia. I want to bring that experience to all of my clientele! An experience they will never forget!”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far it’s been smooth sailing! I think when you enjoy doing something and seeing smiles on your clients faces, it makes any bumps in the road manageable!

We are a mobile, dry hire, bartending service and also offer mixology classes.
Our services cater to the smallest of house parties to the largest of corporate events.
Our mixology classes are a fun way to spend a couple of hours with friends and family learning a new craft and making amazing cocktails. We make our Mixology classes, super fun, entertaining and knowledgeable.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
The biggest take away from the pandemic for us was, don’t take quality social time for granite! The time we spend with friends and family helps us recharge and rejuvenate the spirit! They call it” happy hour” for a reason!
