I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2019, and it’s been an incredible and transformative journey. I started out as a lash artist, and I quickly fell in love with the art of enhancing natural beauty. There’s something so rewarding about seeing how a small change, like a beautiful set of lashes, can truly elevate someone’s confidence and make them feel their best.
As an entrepreneur and beauty enthusiast, I knew I wanted to broaden my skill set and offer more advanced services to my clients. This led me to pursue training in medical aesthetics, specifically becoming an aesthetic injector. My experience as an esthetician and lash artist actually gave me a really strong foundation for this transition. Lash artistry requires special attention to details and a delicate, precise hand that I’ve carried over into my work as an injector.
The decision to delve into injecting was a natural progression for me, as I am deeply passionate about the science behind skincare and facial aesthetics. I also care deeply about my clients and want to be the best for them. They have been with me through all the ups and downs of having a small business. Without their unwavering support and encouragement, I would be nothing. I owe everything that I am to them.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Transitioning into injectables has definitely had its challenges, especially as a new injector. I’ll admit, there were moments of nervousness—knowing the weight of responsibility and the precision required for each treatment. Understanding the complexities of facial anatomy was a big learning curve. Every face is unique, and knowing how the skin, muscles, and blood vessels work together is crucial to delivering safe and beautiful results. Precision with placement and dosage is something I’ve been working hard to master to ensure my clients receive optimal outcomes.

What I love most about being an aesthetic injector is the ability to combine artistry with medical knowledge. Each face is unique, and I approach every treatment with the care and attention it deserves. Whether I’m enhancing someone’s lashes or helping them achieve their aesthetic goals with injectables, it’s about providing a personalized experience and delivering results that make my clients feel their best.
So, in a way, being a lash artist was my stepping stone into a broader world of beauty. Becoming an injector was the next level up for me in offering more advanced, tailored services, and it’s been such an exhilarating experience. I’m truly excited about where this journey will take me next.
